Zeit means ‘time’, and viewers of the programme on Germany’s ZDF take control of what, when, how — and how long — they watch,
with a high-tech visual interface from Opium.

It’s an interpretation of ‘:’ — the separator symbol between the hours and minutes on a digital clock.
These tiny animated squares spring open to reveal image boxes, scrolling text, and split-screen panels.

We created the whole graphic package.
A timely visual language for Germany’s most respected broadcast channel.
